Stages of Weaning

  • Stage 2 (7-9 Months)

  • Stage 3 (10-12 Months)

Allergy Awareness

Introduce allergenic foods one at a time and wait 3-5 days to observe reactions.

  • Signs of Reaction

    Hives, swelling, vomiting, difficulty breathing. Call emergency services if severe.

  • When should I start solids?

    The WHO recommends exclusive breastfeeding for 6 months, then starting complimentary foods.

  • What if my baby refuses?

    Don't force it. Try again in a few days. It can take 10-15 exposures for a baby to accept a new food.
