Personal finance calculators
Each calculator answers one money question and then shows its working: the formula with your own numbers in it, a worked example you can check against an official source, and the date the page was last reviewed.

How these calculators work
The result is worked out on the server with typical starting values, so the answer is on the page before any script runs. When you change a number, your browser recalculates it with the same function, so the figure you see and the figure in the page source never disagree.
The global pages follow no single country's tax, insurance or lending rules. Amounts start in US dollars; the currency menu changes only the symbol and the number format, and nothing is converted. Pages for a specific country are written separately, with that country's own rules, defaults and official sources, and appear in the market menu at the top of every page once they are published.
Everything here is calculation and general information. It is not financial, tax or legal advice, and a lender's or tax authority's own figures always take precedence.
