Privacy policy
UtilsKit has no accounts and no forms that send information to the site. This page lists, as precisely as possible, what is still handled when you visit: by your own browser, by the network that delivers the pages, and by Google for analytics and advertising.
What you type into a calculator
Calculations run in your browser. The amounts, rates and terms you enter are not submitted to UtilsKit, not stored on its servers and not added to the page address. Closing or reloading the page clears them.
What is stored in your browser
On the global edition, if you choose a display currency, that choice is saved in your browser's local storage under the name utilskit:display-currency so the next page shows the same currency. It holds only the currency code, it is never sent to UtilsKit, and you can remove it by clearing this site's data in your browser. UtilsKit itself sets no cookies.
Analytics
Every page loads Google Analytics, which sets first-party cookies to tell visits apart and reports which pages are viewed, how the visitor arrived, the type of device and browser, and an approximate location derived from the IP address. UtilsKit uses these reports in aggregate to see which calculators are used and where pages need work. Google signals and advertising personalisation are switched off in the analytics configuration, so analytics data is not used to personalise ads.
You can stop Google Analytics from collecting data in your browser with Google's opt-out browser add-on, or by blocking cookies for this site.
Advertising
Calculator pages and market home pages show ads served by Google AdSense. The site information pages, including this one, do not load advertising. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet.
You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google's Ads Settings. How Google uses information from sites that show its ads is explained on its page How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
Delivering the site
Pages are delivered through Cloudflare, and the servers that host the site process the technical data every web request carries, such as IP address, browser type and the page requested, to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. UtilsKit does not combine this data with anything else to identify you.
Changes to this policy
When the site starts or stops handling a kind of data, this page is updated with it, and the date at the foot of the page changes. The terms of use cover the conditions for using the site.
